20 years ago to the day, the entrepreneur Jack Penrod presented the first ever concept for a luxury beach club with music, a restaurant, shows, fashion, cinema and art exhibitions. Today there are 14 such Beach Clubs scattered worldwide: from Miami to Saint-Tropez, Dubai and even Koh Samui. The story began back in 1998… Nikki Beach was just a small establishment in a quiet garden location in Miami just a stone’s throw from the ocean. A delightfully peaceful place baptised “Café Nikki”, created by Jack Penrod and his wife Lucia and named after their daughter Nicole who tragically died in a car accident. “Celebrating life” is the mantra of Nikki Beach and its founders and that applies to each of the brand’s beach locations. A philosophy that took root some 20 years ago and that is reflected in a variety of ways.

Nikki Beach, is also a symbol, that of a tepee, to represent sharing and that is visible on the group’s logo and also at each of the sites. Sharing a meal, a story or memory with friends and family. Every day the symbol is a reminder of the necessity to keep your feet firmly on the ground and celebrate life with those dearest to you.
