Golf & Restaurant

Whether here for business or pleasure, should you have the urge to play at one of the many courses that the beautiful Côte d’Azur has to offer, Cannes Mougins should be at the very top of your list!
Originally designed by the famous Harry Colt, the man behind such iconic courses as Royal Lytham & St Anne’s, Royal Portrush, Sunningdale and Wentworth, this 6,800 yard par 72 was re-modelled in the late 70’s by Peter Alliss and Dave Thomas. More recent work was carried out on greens, bunkers and tree management by renowned golf course architects Mackenzie & Ebert, specialists in the renovation of Colt designs.
Host to the European Tour’s Cannes Open from 1984 to 1994, this private club boasts on its winner’s board such illustrious names as Greg Norman, Ian Woosnam and the legendary Severiano Ballesteros, who after his 1987 victory hailed it “One of the best courses in Europe”.

Well recognised for its high standards of maintenance, the course is often classed in the French Top 10, organises regular events for its Members throughout the year and is open to green fees at specific times.
And whether you play golf or not, the exquisite Clubhouse offers a warm, relaxing atmosphere in what once was a working olive farm. Breath-taking views over the lush fairways and Alps beyond can be enjoyed from the restaurant, where chef Nicolas Godebert will delight you with his generous, traditional cuisine, honouring fresh local and seasonal produce. “Bon Appétit!”
